Grass Range is a town in Fergus County, Montana, United States. The population was 149 at the 2000 census.

Demographics

As of the census^[2] of 2000, there were 149 people, 67 households, and 42 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,022.9 people per square mile (383.5/km²). There were 80 housing units at an average density of 549.2 per square mile (205.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White.

There were 67 households out of which 25.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.7% were married couples living together, 6.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.3% were non-families. 32.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.22 and the average family size was 2.81.
